Application

The STA (Steel Tape Armour) versions are suitable for indoor/outdoor fixed installation, including direct burial, cable ducts, and general industrial environments (e.g., manufacturing plants, commercial buildings, and low-voltage power distribution networks). Designed for low-voltage power transmission (0.6/1kV) in TN-C or TN-S earthing systems, ideal for connecting heavy-duty electrical equipment, transformers, and distribution boards where cost-effectiveness and basic flame retardancy are prioritized over low smoke emission requirements.

Construction

Conductor:
Annealed copper, multistranded (Class 2 per IEC 60228), cross-section: 4×95mm² (4 cores, 95mm² each), tinned copper optional for enhanced corrosion resistance in humid environments.

Insulation:
XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene) per IEC 60502-1, rated temperature 90°C continuous operation, thickness tailored for 0.6/1kV voltage grade (minimum 1.0mm to ensure dielectric strength).

Armour:
STA (Steel Tape Armour) – double-layer galvanized steel tape, thickness 0.3mm, overlap rate ≥30% for robust mechanical protection against impact, crushing, and rodent damage during direct burial.

Binder Tape:
PETP (Polyethylene Terephthalate) transparent tape, applied over insulated cores to maintain structural integrity and prevent core displacement.

Outer Sheath:
PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) per IEC 60502-1, flame retardant (FR) compliant with IEC 60332-1-2 (vertical flame test), rated temperature 70°C continuous operation.

Black (standard) or Orange (customizable for high-visibility applications).

Standards Compliance:
EAC Certified (TR CU 020/2011, TR CU 004/2011), IEC 60502-1, GB/T 12706.1.
